"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir

I am KOFFI TOURE the first son of MINISTER OF FINANCE CHIEF TOURE ANDRE
from Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire and I know that when you see this request appeal
you will be astonished.

But I must not fail to tell you that I am doing this as a result of my father
death following the war My problem started last November 2002 when the war
was seriously going on here in my country Cote d'Ivoire.

And as a result of this war I lost my parents and my two brothers, I and
my sister are alive today because on that day we were not in the house when
the rebels came in our house.

Before his death, my father had deposited with one of the Security Company
in Abidjan the capital of Cote d'Ivoire, he deposited sum of US$20. 5 Million
(Twenty Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars). With a Security
Company here as family valuables.

So now that every problem here has been settled we decided to contact overseas
firm and companies that will assist us to move this money out of Cote d'Ivoire
because as of the treatment our
late father's family have been give to us since the death of late father
it is because of this reason that we are seriously asking for your assistance
to help us receive the consignment on our behalf.

Due to our age, there is nothing we can do with that amount without some
one like you to handle the claim of the consignment and keep it till we
are of age to take care of the responsibility on our own.

We have agreed to offer you 20% of the total sum for your assistance, 15%
have been mapped out for any expenses that may be incurred in the course
of this transaction while 65% will be for me and my sister to invest in
your country.

All I want you to do is to furnish me with your entire personal phone and
fax numbers for easy communication.

Thanks and remain blessed

Best regards,

KOFFI TOURE
