"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

UNBELIEVABLE
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am an undergraduate of the Universite of Barcelona in Spain, I am 38
years old and Studying Theology in the above institution and in my final year, I am a christian , and from Northern Somalia Region affected by the recent Tsunami Quakes/floods Disaster that swept through South Eastern Asia.i want to seek your assistance for a very important and confidential matter as regards my future.
I am from a polygamous home, my father was a very rich man, and I am the only
surviving son of my father now. My father married two wives my mother being the
senior wife but gave birth to four sons and a girl while my stepmother has five (5)
children.Unfortunately, (26th Dec. 2004), I lost my father , he died in this recent Tsunami Quakes/floods Disaster that swept through South Eastern Asia.
However,as i have just returned from Spain when i heard the news,Immediately i came back from spain , I went to my father house, what i saw is still hunting me till today, the quake have killed my father, my brothers and also my step mum.Unbelivable, i did not want to believe it,how can such a thing happen to my family.I later find out that my mum survived the quake
and it was because my father send her to the big market in the western side of the city which the quake did'nt reach.I later found my mum but she was an eye sore.After crying and holding each other for a very long period, we later faced reality.My father is dead, my step mother dead my brothers and sisters dead what are we going to do.
Furtunately, for me and for my mum i got to find out from my mum that my father left a legacy for us. We started going through the debris that was left from the disaster for the deposit papers of the funds and after much searching we found it inside a safe on my father's falling house.
We found out from the deposit papers that my father had lodged sum of US$12,500,000.00 (Twelve million, five hundred thousand U.S. Dollars) with a security and shiping company in London,UK.I immediately call the company with the information i got from the deposit papers and they confirm the deposit of the fund in two boxes, that gladen my mind at my mum and i have something to survival on.
With regards to this, and couple with my inexperience to money matters and an amount of this magnitude.
I hereby seek your assistance to help me receive and transfer this money
into your account in your country, where I shall finally come to live
after my graduation and the money successfully kept in your care.I shall
donate part of it to TSUNAMI RELIEF FUNDS.
In all, I need someone trustworthy to assist me in not only taking this
money out, but should be ready to help me manage this money into any
business of your choice wisely infact be my fund/ investor manager.
You will be compensated.In respect of the above, if you are ready to

it has affected, THAT WAS THE WORST THING I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE and

will be going to London next week with the deposit ducoment to make
arrangement with the company on the transfer of the funds to you
