"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

JOSEPH DIALLO
ANGOLA SOUTHERN AFRICA
Dearly beloved.
Greetings.

I am joseph diallo by name, from angola southern africa . coincidentally

,i stumbled over your address while going the net. please kindly assist

me in this my prdicament if you can, and you will be glad you did. Its very
confidential because, its a family matter. my late father was a very weathlyman
of international repute ,he owns murphy construction company west africa,
he was also a diamond merchant. but he was a polygamist with seven wives,

my mother been the last one.Among the whole wives ,none had a male offspring
except my mother, l am the only male child in the family, and this resulted
into a very big enemity against my mum from the other wives. You can see
the picture clearly now. according to african tradition , am suppose to
inherit my dads fortune, because of this custom none of my fatherssecret
is hidden from my knowledge. to be precise ,

my dad owns a secret bank account in cote de ivoire up to the tune of 19
million us dollars unknown to any family member my mother inclusive, except
l alone that was englightened with the account numbers which he said was
an investment fund for his estate management with his overseas partners.
But as fate would have it on the 29 of may 2003 while returning back from
a board meeting he had a fatal accident with an army jeep , he died at the
spot. May his soul rest in perfect peace amen. He has since been buried
according to custom rites,

and tradition. The bone of contention now among the wives is the struggle
for posseion of my late fathers properties , my mum excluded . We have been
wrongfully dispossesed of our due rights, and threatened by assassins in
order to eliminate us both. We fled angola , now in cote d'ivoire. Ihope
am well understood. This investment fund of my late father is now our hope.
This is where your assistance is highly needed. If you can be of any help
to me,

do me this favour. Foward me your bank account numbers ,where l can transfer
this money into. Nothing to worry, nothing to fear about. I have worked
round the clock to make sure there would be a smooth transfer without hassles.
But treat me good. For your assistance , l will offer you 15% of the total
sum, while 5% will be set aside for settlement of any expense s made in
respect of the transfer from both parties. I, and my mother, will come over
there to collect our shares after the money has been transfered. Email me
with this alternative address(jdiallo333@yahoo.co.nz)
if you are keen to give a helping hand, immediately. Please
dont forget to include your personal phone numbers ,and fax.

Thanks a whole lot,
waiting in anticipation.
joseph diallo.
