"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Private Massage To You.

Private Massage To You,

I am AMINA ABID from Afghanistan. I am married to Late MALLAM SHEIK ABID of
blessed memory who is an oil explorer in Afghanistan, Libya and Kuwait for
twelve years before his death. He was killed during the U.S. raid against
terrorism in Afghanistan and during our marriage we could not have any
child.

Presently, I am suffering from long time cancer of the breast and fibroid
and have visited hospitals without success. From all indication, my
condition is really deteriorating and it is quite obvious that I may not
live up to six months according to my doctors. This is because the cancer
stage has gotten to a very bad stage.

When my late Husband was alive he deposited the sum of $12 million (Twelve
Million U.S Dollars) in a trunk box with a Security Company in
oversea.Having known my condition I now selected you after visiting the
Chambers of Commerce and Industry and prayed over it. I am willing to donate
this fund to either a Christian or Muslim organization or devoted individual
that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein.

I want you or this organization to use this money in all sincerity to
contribute to the development and assistance of less privileged and victims
of war in Africa, South America, Asia and to ensure that the society upholds
the views God. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will
inherit this money and my husband relatives now hate me so much because I do
not agree and support their wicked ways.
I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an Unholy manner,
hence the reasons for this bold decision.

I know that after death I will be with ALLAH the most beneficent and the
most merciful. I will prefer to communicate via mail to telephone
communication in this regard not just for my bad health condition but
basically because of the presence of my husband's relatives around me
always. I don't want them to know about this development. With ALLAH all
things are possible.

As soon as I receive your reply on Email: {hajiaaminaabid@yahoo.it} I shall
give you the contact information of the Security Company and the country in
oversea where the money was deposited. I will also issue a letter of
authority to the Security Company authorizing them that the said fund Have
being willed to you and a copy of such authorization will be forwarded to
you.

My happiness is that I lived a true devoted Muslim worthy of emulation.
Whoever that wants to serve ALLAH must serve him in truth and in fairness.
Please always be prayerful all through your life. Any delay in your reply
will give room in sourcing for a devoted person for this same purpose. Until
I hear from you, my dreams will rest squarely on your shoulders.

May the Almighty ALLAH continue to guide and protect you.
Regards,
HAJIA AMINA ABID.
