"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello My Dear,
We do not mean to embarras you by this proposal, but to know if I can confide
in you for our safety and also to seek your utmost assistance and it is
my pleasure to write you Based on the information and recommendation I got
about quick growth of investment in your country.

I am Dickson Gude am 19 years of age and and my sister Kaite Gude 14 years
old the children of late H.R.H Chief Samuel Chuegnj Gude the ex-king of
mende tribe in Sierra-Leone. On the 19th May, 2003 my father was murdered
by some rebel group on the accusation that he is a great sponsor and in
support to restore the democratically elected President of Alahji Tejan
Kabba. Almost half of the palace was burnt. Fortunately I was not in the
place when they raided the palace my father married 2 wives with 7 children,
my mother with 4 of my father's children where murdered in cold blood while
my little sister escape the incident with bullet wounds on her right leg
at the moment where the remaining families are I don't know.

Rightnow I am left alone with only one sister after the sudden assassination
of my father the family has been displaced and totally disorganized left
with nothing. Early that year before the death of my father travelled to
abidjan where he told the family that he deposited ($12,000 000)million
US dollar with a bank in Abidjan Cote d'ivoire on behalf of the family, now
we are looking for a God fearing person who will assist us in transfering
the money into his account.

And I have discovered all the documents covering the deposit he made with
the Bank before coming down to Abidjan as my town has been a serious war
zone. We have gone and confirm the deposit with the Bank with the document,
The document is with me here. Now I wish to transfer these funds abroad
and enter into a business venture as the country (Cote d'ivoire) is no longer
in peace since October 2003 the country has witness all sort of political
unrest ranging from ethnic clash which resulted to killing of innocent citizens
and strangers are living in fears as the country is no longer that peaceful
nation as it was before due to this reason that I have decided to contact
you, to assist me to transfered this money out of this country for the future
of me and my younger sister.
As soon as you show your sincererity and interesting we will talk about
your persentage and how to invest the money on your advice.
Waiting for your urgent reply.
Best regards.
Dickson and Kaite.
