"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Please Help !!!

Dear Friend,

I know you will be surprised to read from me, but please consider this
letter as a request from a family in dire need for your assistance.
Firstly, I must introduce myself, I am CHRISTOPHER MUMA , I am the
first and only son of MR JOSEPH MUMA, a black Zimbabwean Famer.I am
presently taking refuge in Europe.
I got your contact from the BRITISH INFORMATION EXCHANGE (B.I.E)
in UNITED KINGDOM. I decided to solicit for your assistance to transfer
the sum of US$ 18.5M (Eighteen Million Five Hundred Thousand United
States
Dollars) into your personal /company account. My father was
among the few black Zimbabweans rich farmers, who were poisoned by
the agents of the ruling government of president ROBERT MUGABE for
their
alleged support and sympathy for Zimbabwean opposition party controlled
by the white minority. Before his death, he told me about the money
he deposited to a Security and Finance Company in Europe.
This money was deposited as a gemstone to avoid much demurrage from the
Security Company. This money was earmarked for purchase of new
machinery and chemicals for the farms and to establish new farms in Lesotho and
Swaziland.

In my father's speech, he specifically drew my attention to this sum of
US$18.5M (Eighteen Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars)
that he deposited in safe box of a private Security and Finance Company
in Europe.

These are the words of my father:

"My beloved son, I wish to draw your attention to this money which I
deposited in your name in a box with a Security and Finance Company in
Europe.
In case of my absence on earth caused by death, you should solicit for
a reliable foreign partner to transfer this money out for investment
purposes".

From the above, you will understand that the life and future of my
family
depends on this money, as much I will be very grateful if you can
assist me. I cannot be able to handle the release of the deposit from
the security company due to my immigration status and the strict deposit
conditions given to the security Company by my father.Hence, I must do
it his own way by seeking for the assistance of a foreign partner.

I will be prepared to offer you 25% of the total sum, while 5% will be
earmarked for every necessary expenses incurred during and after the
conclusion of this transaction. This transaction is risk free as every
release processes will be endorsed by an acclaimed attorney. The most
important thing is for me to have your trust and confidence that you can
prosecute a business of this magnitude.

If your keen and interest to be of assistance in this mutual
benefitting transaction, don't hesitate to respond urgently by forwarding your
personal details(Name, address, telephone and fax number) to me so that
an attorney can proceed with the registration of your name with the
Security Company as the foreign partner of my late father.

I will be looking forward to your very urgent reply through my private
e-mail: chrismuma1@netscape.net, but don't forget that this information
should be handle with utmost secrecy and concern. Godbless you.

Yours respectfully,

PRINCE CHRISTOPHER MUMA.
