"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Miss. Victoria Guei,
Abidjan Cote D' Ivoire.
West Africa.

As you receive this unsolicicted mail and may be doubting how I got your
mail contact. Well, I got your contact from a pastor here in Abidjan, Cote
d' Ivoire, hence I decided to write you, though I did not mention the transaction
to him.

I am Victoria Guei, 24 year of age,one of the daughters of the late PRESIDENT
ROBERT GUEI from Abidjan, the Republic of Cote d`ivoire who was assassinated
during the last political problem in cote D`Ivoire in the year 2002. To
be direct, I am the only daughter of my mother with a brother called Jacob.
our mother was his first wife though she is late now. though they were not
married again before the death of our father as he divorced our mother because
she was not educated, but because of us, when our father became the present,
he deposited the sum of US$ 8 Million for us and our mother with a Security
and Finance Company before he died. we thought the political problem here
will stop so that we can invest the fund here but because of the current
crisis again we have decided to move the fund out of this country for investment.
For further details, see these sites, www.bbc.co.uk/french or www.bbcnews.com
and get details of the current political crisis here in Abidjan.

We need your mutual assistance to move our money to your Country for investment.
To be very honest and sincere with you, since the sudden death of my late
father, we have contacted two people from Denmark and Greece to assist us
in this very matter, but due the fraudulent activites going on in the world
through the internet today and otherwise, all the people we have contacted
felt we are not for real. that is why we are writing you this mail with
due sense of humanity and responsibility, and with the awareness that you
will give it a sympathetic and mutual consideration. The internet fraudlent
activities at the moment may make you to doubt our proposal but we want
you to know that we are for real.

Were you really come in is for you to assist us move these funds to your
country. We will also need your advice on areas of investment when finally
the funds get to your end. The total money deposited in my brothers name
in a Finance Security company here which we want to move out right now is
US$8 million (US$ Eight MILLION)

Please get back to us to enable us work out modes of shippment or transfer
of the fund to you directly as we may agree.

Thanks and bye for now.

Yours truly,

Mis. Victoria Guei and Brother Jacob.
