"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: A HANDSOME REWARD

Dear Sir,

I am sorry that this mail might come to you as a surprise owing to the fact
that you never expected it. However, It might interest you to know that
despite the effort of the united nation to ensure global peace there are
some regions in the globe that have not seen that peace for decades.

Region where the citizen has lived in fear, without peace of mind and plans
for life. These were caused by incesant war in these regions that resulted
from international politics. A typical example is a country called ANGOLA,
a country in Africa that has been battered by war.

I am Mr. Joachim Bingadema the son of John Bingadema, who hails from
Ovimbundu ethnic group in Angola. My father was a maternal cousin and a
secrete aide of late Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, unlike Paulo Lukamba Gato who
was a popular aide. He (my father) ran most of Savimbi’s secrete
international deals for him because of the trust he reposed on him. He
handled most of his diamond / precious stone deals, which yielded a lot of
money.

Jonas Malheiro Savimbi was until his death in February 2002 the Angolan
warlord and the leader of the National Union for the Total Independence of
Angola (UNITA). In 2001 a lot of external pressures were on Savimbi to track
him down and confiscate his/UNITA where ever they are found. In view of
this, my father was ordered by Savimbi to save some of the money they made
from sales of diamond / precious stones and other international deals in his
(my father's) name so that it could not be traced. He acted accordingly by
depositing in a security company’s vault aboard, the sum of eighty million
US dollar ($80, 000,000.00) and I was used as the next of kin in the
transaction.

Note That Savimbi’s asset is valued at Billions of dollar.

Following the death of Jonas Savimbi and my father in the Angolan war, I
stand as the only beneficiary of the fund. Considering the fact that Angola
was not safe for me to stay to carry out this transaction, I explain this to
my father and Savimbi's close friend, Mr. Charles Taylor who was former
president of Liberia until August 2003. He invited me to Liberia, but few
days after my arrival, the Liberian crisis started. Taylor was later granted
asylum by the present Nigerian government, I am at present among the number
of Liberia who came with Taylor to seek asylum in Nigeria and I will stay
there till I get this transaction completed.

Your role in this transaction is to assist me to claiming this money from
Security Company. I have discussed with the company and they assured me that
they willing be willing to release the fund to whomever I will authorize.
Note that 1.3 % of the total sum has been set aside for any expenses that
would be incurred by both parties in the transaction. I will reward you
handsomely with 25% of the total sum as soon as this transaction is
completed.

It is my plan to spend part of this money on the less privileged people in
the troubled regions while part of will go into investment.

Please write back to me immediately if you find it in your heart to assist
me in this deal. And please do not to expose this mail as this transaction
demands secrecy.

I would prefer you reply me through this email box : joachbing32@echina.com

Thanks.

Yours Sincerely

Joachim Bingadema.
