"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest One,

I have the sincere pleasure to contact you as this is not what you will
call or assume as internet misbehaviouse, but is a matter of reality. I
got your contact address while I was doing some search for lucrative business
privately.

I am Mrs. Christabel Guei , wife to the former late military head of states
in Ivoty Coast. West Africa

I want an investment put in place in your country and I request your partnership
in actualising this dream, but would not want to disclose details here until
I have your indulgence with details to reach you for further correspondence.

Already the take of fund stipulated for this is U.S$ 12 MILLION , confidentially
kept in a safe custody which i would not like to disclosed not until i have
your full co-operation to this effect.

I would also like you to know that while contacting you for this purpose,
