"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT REPLY

Dear Sir/Madam,
I know you will be very surprise to receive this mail.My name is
retired major general JOHN ABUBAKA from Nigeria.Before
l left Nigeria army there was a business l did that worth 16.2millions
us dollars (Sixteen millions two hundred thousands.)The business is so
confidential that l have to deposit the money as a consignment with
a security company.The consignment was registered as a family
treasure so that no body will know the content of the consignment.lam out of
service in Nigeria army now,l need somebody that will help me to invest this
money after clearing the consignment from the security company.Any
interested person should contact my project official Dr donaldo jackson.email
address.doldjackson@yahoo.co.uk. He is currently in Europe because of the
consignment. Anybody who is interested in the transaction l will offer out
15%from the total sum and 5% will go for expenses.Please don´t forget
to confirm your personal informatioms to me for easy communication.
I will also issue you an authorization letter for you to claim the
Consignment.
