"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Miss vivian morris the only daughter of late Chief mark williams, who
was assasinated by the rebels in our home town during the recent political
crises of 19th sept. 2003. Untill the death of our parents, they were very
wealthy Cocoa/cafe farmers & exporter based in abidjan the capital of cote
d'ivoire. Before their death in a private specialist hospital, my father
called me on his bed side and secretly confided to me the sum of ($13.5
million U S dollars) which he deposited in one of the banks here in abidjan
for onward transfer abroad on his proposed cocoa processing company project
through an assistance of a foreign partner.

My father also told me his intension to invest part of the money in allocation
of oil business on collaboration with oil companies in countries like Libya,
America or Europe, but unfortunately he died the way he did without accomplishing
his objective as a result of the rebels attack.

Having know that he will not survive from the injuries he sustained as a
result of the wounds and pains inflinched on him by the rebels, then he
advised me to quickly and hurriedly go into his personal underground safe
in our family villa and take all the vital documents covering the deposited
money with the bank and look for a true and trustworthy foreigner and liase
with him as partner to assist me transfer the money abroad for investment
on any lucrative business of my chioce for our future welfare.

Upon the instruction and advice by my father before he finally died, i have
in my possession now the deposit certificates issued to him by the bank
the day he deposited the money, and have located the bank with utmost confidentiality
and honesty. I therefore request your assistance to help me transfer this
money out of this country to your country for investment by providing your
foreign bank account details.

I have agreed that 15% of the total sum shall be your reward immediately
the money is transferred, while 2.5% also will be set aside to cover all
the expenses you might incure on the process. Upon your acceptance to my
proposal, kindly get back to me through the above email address so that
we can discuss further on the ways to achieve this golden success.

Note, I am still in the refugee camp Yamussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire, I need
your urgent attention to this mail because I want to leave here for a better
future with you abroad.

Expecting your reply soon.

Best Regard and God Bless you.
