"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir
I do not intend to embarrass you with this mail, as we have not known each
other. Well, I would say that with time we would really get to know each
other and probably see by face. I am Mike Dogolea I come from Liberia, My
father Mr. Enoch Dogolea was a political ally and former Vice President and
member of the National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) headed by the now
deposed President of Liberia Mr. Charles Taylor. Because of the involvement
of my father in solid mineral control in Liberia and his position, Charles
Taylor’s eliminated my father by poison through his aid on his farm.
After the death of my father when the war in my country was over i went back
to my country and i found the documents which my father used to deposit
money to a security and finance company in Nedtherland he deposited the sum
of $7,000,000 with a security company as if he knew of the looming danger
ahead in Liberia then.
The money was realized from the sales of diamonds and gold.After the War i
lost all my Family i am the only one left in the family.I need you as my
foreign partner to assist me retrieve this money from the security company
to your region were we shall invest this money in profitable business
venture. I must let you know that this arrangement is risk free, all
documents relating to the funds deposited by my late father is presently
with me here in Liberia and I will let you have the contact info of the
Security and finance Company as soon as you indicate your willingness to
assist.
