Subject: Your Consent Required.
Attn:Sir,
My Name is Mr.Michael J.Leyden,an American.I am the Protocol Officer in
charge of Treasury & Security with Empresa Nacionais de Diamantes de
Angola Endiama,a Security and Trust Deposit Company which specialises in
Safekeeping of Family Valuables and Personal Effects for Private
Individuals.
During one of my Quarterly routine inspections of the company's vault,I
discovered that a consignment belonging to One of our Customers,Mr.Ben
Hogarth,has remained unclaimed for the Maximum Three(3)Years without
any claims for release being made and in Line With our Consignment
Deposit Policy,a consigment is not allowed to stay more than Three Years
in
the company's vault without an Application for Claims/Renewal of
deposit Agreement being filed.Upon Further Examination,I discovered that
the
consigment with the content registered as family valuables contains
US$7,500,000.00 Dollars and not family valuables as indicated on the
record for the Deposit.I did not disclose this to any person.
After this findings I made several inquiries to locate the Owner
through the address I have on his File/record and I discovered that the
Owner
of the consigment,was a former Director with SENANGOL(the State
National Oil Company which Manages Oil exploration and Development activities
and the Granting of relevant Prospecting and mining titles in Angola.)
and his Wife and Two Children were among the Victims of the ill-fated
Plane Crash that occured on the 30th of May,2001.
In other to avoid any third party knowing about this deposit,I
contacted a Security and Finance Company based in London that specialises
in
the Movement of Consignment from Luanda,Angola to London via a Fiduciary
Agent who have Diplomatic coverage,to move the consigment to London.I
informed them that the Owner of the Consignment has Instructed that the
Consignment be released to His Next of Kin/Relative whom will carry out
his Instructions concerning Deposit.
Since I have been unsuccessful in locating His Next of Kin,I decided to
contact you for your co-operation in collecting this Consignment from
the Security Company in London.Be informed that as soon as these Fund is
released,we shall disburse the Funds.I have all necessary information
and legal documents needed to effect the release these deposit to you as
the beneficiary.All I require from you is your honest co-operation to
enable us conclude this transaction. I guarantee that this will be
executed under legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach
of the law.
I have to stop here now as your response will determine our subsequent
corresspondence. Please feel free to dis-regard this proposal if it is
not in line with your principles.Otherwise,Please Get back to me via my
