"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

My Dearest

I know that this will be a surprise to you, but you shouldn't be surprise,
because i'm totally conviced to write to you in transfering of (9.7 million
dollars) into your account.

Due to the problem i am having here in africa with my late husband's family.

So that i can be able to establish an investment in your country.

I am mrs Victoria C. Ibe only child of my parent Mr Paul .O.Ibe from Senegal
who is an international timber and rubber marchant on his life time, but
it is a tragid that i lost him and my mummy on a planecrash in 1989 when
i was seven years old.

After then i married to one Mr James Ume of Liberia, a son of formal Liberia
information minister. But the marriage was unacceptable by his family menbers,
but to GOD be the glory, every thing works out successfully between us.

But it is unfortunate that i lost him last year on the 27th march 2004,
ever since then, all his family members has not been in good terms with
me.

They throw me with my baby of nine months out of their family and inherited
all his vast wealth, and started treating of my life.

But before my husband died, he informed me that there is some money which
he
deposited in one finance house in Abidjan the capital city of Cote'd
Ivoire for our family upbringing, that i should take all the concern/documents
regards to this deposit and go for the withdrawal for an official use.

And i am now presently in Abidjan where the deposit was made and i have
found out the concerned bank as well. So please if you are fully interested
in my offer and request, your urgent reply is needed as soon as possible.

Thank you and may the blessings of God be with you.
Please keep this secert.
From mrs Victoria.
