"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

RE: TSUNAMI DISASTER AND THE DEPOSIT OF MY LATE CLIENT {VERY URGENT}!!

I definitely know that this proposal will come as a very big surprise to
you. You will ask why you? Anyway my name is Barrister Jonathan Yomi Nassa
a Liberian based in Abidjan,Cote d'Ivoire.

I am Engr.Milter Binger Lathan' s Lawyer, who lost his life on the 30th
December 2004 immediately he heard the death of his entire family. My client's
family travelled on vacation in Thailand at the famous Tourist Resort Island
of Phuket. According to report we got based on an extensive inquiry through
Abidjan Embassy in Thailand
revealed that non of his family members survived the devastating Tsunami
disaster.Engr.Lathan on hearing the death of his entire family collapsed
in his office and when rushed to the hospital the doctor confirmed him dead.

It might interest you to note that my deceased client lived most of his
life time here in Cote d'Ivoire and took here as his home.Since according
to him he was raised up in an orphanage home in his country having been
abandoned by his mother. As a consultant to Oil Prospecting Companies here
in Abidjan, he made fortune for himself and I have been his personal attorney
spanning for a period of ten years now.

Based on my relationship with him, he informed me some wonderful ideas he
wants to embark on which was to build one or two churches around the third
wave countries and also donate monies to churches and also to less previlige
homes around the globe too with this deposit of US$29.860Million he made
through a CODED account in his local bank here in Africa which he gave me
the CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT to keep as
his lawyer.

I have travelled to the country where the money was deposited and made some
enquiry concerning the deposit and it was confirmed that the deposit is
intact.Based on their confirmation I collected documents from the bank and
from the Probate Court that will lead to the eventual melting/release of
the deposit to his next of kin cum business partner I will forward to the
authorities as his lawyer. I will be very glad to have you as someone I
will trust and work with to actualize these dreams and aspirations of my
deceased client Engr. M.B. Lathan.

You may wonder how I came to know you, I got to know your contact on my
quest to know the extent of the TSUNAMI DISASTER . I will like you to call
me or you can include your direct telephone number in your reply where I
can call you for more discussion and the way forward.

You should send your reply to:jnassa1@excite.com
