"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

It is with heartfelt hope that I write to seek your co-operation and
assistance in the context stated below, I am Barrister Robert Peters, The
personal Attorney to the late MR.Larry Rowe. I got your
contact through the help of my sister-in-law that works with the American

Chambers of Commerce and Tourism, though I did not disclose to her my humble

intention for an honest foreigner like you, Having noted the confidence

reposed on your person by the sponsor of the recommendation.

My late client was the Chief Executive officer of SPDC {Shell pertrolium

so will amount to the Bank transferring this fund into Government Accont
or
it be rendered unserviceable.

Since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 2 years
now' I then seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the
deceased since you relate to his last name {Rowe}. I agree to pay you 40%
of
the fund, 55% to me and While 5% will shared for any expences that we may
incure in the cause of this transaction.

However, you are advise to send the below information to me,to enable me
forward your name to the Finance House as the next of kin to my late
client,then the bank will contact you immediately on how to claim the
Fund,please call me immediately you recieved this email.
