"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Phone: +00 27 83 431 9588

ATTN: DIRECTOR/CEO,

I am a 38- year-old Angolan living in exile in South Africa.
I am interested in going into a joint venture business with you,
and this can be in any viable business area.

I am in a position to invest several millions United
States Dollars into any viable business offering,
including of course the possibility for us to remain
anonymous,(this happens to be a very important
condition to our offer).
However I would first of all want to know you more,
prior to my letting you into the details of what we
have to offer.

You probably would have been receiving such offers in
the past, but let me quickly state here that we are
not contacting you so as to take you for a ride. I
expect you would not do the same thing to me too.

Time means money in any business endeavour, I
sincerely hope, you feel the same way too.
Should you be interested in my proposal, please do
contact me as soon as possible on the above phone number or E-mail address.

Please do contact me with following data.
