"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: FROM: Kumba Yalla

Dear Friend,

I know mail of the nature have been read and seen by a lot of us around the
world of which I have also receive similar mails to this that I am mailing
you and this have made me to realise that of the truth, the people out there
are really suffering.
I am Kumba Yalla the former president of Guinea Bissau who was ousted in a
bloodless military coup in September 2003.
I have since not found a more conducive place for me and my family to settle
down and start a new life and that leads to my plea for a trust worthy
person who is ready to welcome me and my family to his country for us to
settle down.
At the moment, I and my family re secretly in South Africa as the country
did not give us the hand to settle here even as refugees, in other word we
are illegal in this country as you read this mail.
Though I made a deposit of the sum of $20 million which I did sometime in
January same year with a security company in South Africa. This I did when
it became obvious that something is about to get wrong in the country and
the only thing I could do was to make this available for me and my family
which I know I will make good use of it even when I am out of power as that
is one thing every man in power in this part of the world always knows that
it is one day going to happen to him either he die in power or he is ousted.
I am using this medium to ask that if you accepts to welcome me and my
family into your country, I will also give you all the information of how
best we can move this money out of this country so that we can at the end
after I and my family have settled in your country, we will go into business
with the said amount.
I will make you the manger of the fund if you accept to be of help to me and
please under no condition should you make it known to people around you that
Kumba Yalla is here in South Africa.
I will like to make these known to you that I am not declared wanted by any
government of the world neither am I a terrorist to the global village but
keep to yourself that because of my personality, I want you to make it
confidential that I am at the moment here.

I am looking forward to read from you or if you deem it necessary, do call
me on my direct mobile +27-83-513--0850

Regards,

Kumba Yalla & Family
