"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: MD/ CEO,
I am Mr. Nelson Ogbevire, Chairan, Tender Board Committee, (TBC), N.N.P.C. The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
I am contacting you as regarding your urgent assistance to complete a profitable transaction is urgently needed. A consignment box contacining $10.7million Usd , belonging to a litle boy by name Etto Ngangira from Sierra-Loene , Deposited by his late Father Late Gen. Collins .G. Ngangira in a security company here in Delta State, Nigeria has been cleared from the security company and it’s presently in the Border seperating the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Benin Republique.
I want to get this money out of Nigeria to a nearby West Africa country, Republic of TOGO where money can be sent out through MONEY GRAM OR WESTERN UNION and send the money bit by bits to you, for safe keeping and for future investment.
