"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GOD BLESS AS YOU HELP

From: Mr. Kwasi Ngomi Kemokai

Reply E-mail: kwasingomik@yahoo.co.uk

Dear Friend,

May this reach you in peace of mind and good health.Since
this is my first letter to you, it will be pertinent to
first make myself known to you. My name is Mr. Kemokai Jr.
I am the first son of Chief Omoh Kemokai, the former
Chairman of Sierra Leone Mining Corporation.
Unfortunately, my father was brutally murdered in 1999 by
the RUF rebels led by Mr. Foday Sankoh-the monster who due
to his selfish interest destroyed a nation and devastated
the land because of the Diamond. This is a story that has
to be imagined that to express because of the ugly memory
and cost.

Since the demise of my father, we the entire family had
been grieving and honestly is very hard for us to trust
people especially here in Africa. I had only confided in
few close friends as we were in need of securing the wealth
of my father. It was within these meditations that I got
your contact through a reliable source and I hope to gain
your sincerity, trustworthy and reliability in business.
Honestly, I have not revealed to anyone exactly what I
wanted or the amount of money involved.

Based on my search for a honest person I decided to write
you first because this is my family?s last hope of living
comfortably as we do when my father was alive. Before my
father passed away, he had already acquired a vast estate
and a considerable wealth in Sierra Leone. My father
deposited two boxes containing Eleven Million Dollars
(US$11,000,000.00) with a security company. When he
deposited these boxes, my father purposely registered it as
a precious item in order not to attract the attention of
the security officers, and for safety reasons until he is
ready to use it for investments.

Unfortunately, as an adage says ?Man proposes but God
dispose? my father could not live to achieve all his
dreams. In his declaration, he used my name as the next of
kin. As the war broke out, we moved to a safer country. I
am writing from my asylum base looking for a way to remove
the money from the security company to a reliable person
overseas for a proper investment.

Based on this, I am seriously soliciting on your kind
assistance to aid me on how to invest this money with you
in your good country. When my beloved country was at war, I
was still a student and I have little or no knowledge about
business this is one of the reason I need your help most.
Please this is a family affair and because of my family
name, it should be strictly between me and you. And for the
safety of my family.

Have this in your mind that this business is 100% risk
free, and nothing for you to worry about. My family has
agreed to give you 25% of the total amount if you are ready
to assist us in this transaction.
I am waiting for your urgent reply on this email

Thanks,

Kwasi Ngomi Kemokai
For the family
