"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Since we haven’t met once, this message will definitely come to you as a
surprise. I contacted you through this means because I believe that this is
a better way for a formal introduction. I got your contact info from the
South Africa International Chamber Of Commerce and Industry. I hope that you
receive this letter in good condition.

I am Mr. Jean-Crester Oyaole (Ojeegho). I am a citizen of Liberia.

I request your kind support and assistance to transfer the sum of Twenty
Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US$29,500,000.00)
to your personal or company account in your country. These funds are family
inheritance, from my late father Dr. Augustin Oje Oyaole. My father worked
with exile Charles Taylor former President of Liberia as his personal
financial adviser. My Father was murdered in cold blood during the rebel war
in my country Liberia.

I am presently residing in South Africa as a refugee (Asylum Seeker). I left

surviving the brutal injuries that I sustained from the rebels attack.

will be used to reimburse any expenses you and I might incur in the process
