"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,
You may be surprised to receive this letter from me since you do not know me personally, by introduction I am Mr.Festus Williams, the first son of Dr.Vanders Muba Williams, who was recently murdered in the land dispute at ZIMBABWE. I got your contact information from the International date base of Senegal Chamber of Commerce and Industry here in Dakar, Senegal and decided to contact you.

Before my father was murdered he had taken to Dakar, Senegal a consignment under the coverage of diplomatic tactics. This consignment contains US$10.2 Million (Ten million two hundred thousand US dollars) cash and deposited it with a company known as INTRA GLOBAL SECURITY & TRUST CO. in my name as the next of kin as if he foresaw the looming danger in Zimbabwe. My father declared the item as a PERSONAL BELONGING/FAMLIY TREASURE.

The fact is that until this day the security company does not know the real contents of the consignment since it was deposited as something else other than money because he was trying to avoid any kind of questions from the company as to the source of his funds and the rest of other processes he might be subjected to under-go before the consignment would be accepted. This amount was made for the purchase of new machines and chemicals for the farms and establishment of a new farm in Swaziland. Before the land Problem, Zimbabwean President MR. ROBERT MUGABE introduced a new Land Act which wholly affected the rich white farmers and some few black farmers.

This resulted in killing and mob action by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society. In fact, more than thirty-one (32) people have been killed because of this Land Reform act. Heads of governments from the west especially Britain have condemned Mugabe ’s new Land Reform Act and for this reason,SADC (Southern African DevelopmentCommunity) heads of states have met and voiced their support for Mr. Mugabe. South African President and the President of Malawi have been sent by SADC to Britain to support Mugabe’s new Land Reform Act.

It is against this background, that I am currently staying in Dakar senegal as an Asylum /refugee and therefore decided to request for your able assistance to get this deposited item into your care for my better future, i am saddled with this responsibility of seeking a genuine person who can front as my business partner to assist me in the business of moving this funds out of Dakar into your country for better investment prospects since I myself do not know much of business and how the transaction can be handled;Coupled with the fact that my condition as an Asylum/refugee cannot allow me to do such big transaction on my own in this country.

I must let you know that this operation is risk-free and the nature of your participation does not require difficult involvement. Therefore, if you accept to Be assist me, I would wish to invest in your country according to your advice. And would also like you to come down here to Dakar Senegal for proper arrangements and the operation.
Best regards,

Mr.Festus Williams.
