"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Attn: The Chairman

From:Mr. FRANK T MICHAEL;

Dear Sir,
,

I got your contact and profile through Alibaba, I took the
courage to contact you in this matter believing that you
have wide experience in business and can execute this
laudable project with me.

It is all about to seek for your cooperation to transfer
some funds from a commercial bank in Johannesburg to your
country for investment use,you will be entilted to 20% of
the total sum. Hence my letter, I want to know if you can
recommend a trusted company/personal bank account to
receive the money immediately, the money is amounting to
$18,500,000.00

Therefore, if you?re interested, quickly reply back with
your direct phone# for I to call you for more details.

Please treat as urgent and very confidential.
