"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

FROM :MR JAMES MANDAH
SOUTH AFRICA
GREETINGS!
PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY
In appreciation of your esteemed contact which I got through a reliable source and the choice of your country for investment, let me introduce myself.I am Mr James Mandah, the eldest son of Mr Frank Mandah from Zimbabwe,in southern part of Africa. My father was amongst the few black farmers who were assassinated in Zimbabwe,by the agents of the ruling government of President Robert Mugabe for their alleged support and sympathy for the Zimbabwean opposition party which is which is dominated and controlled by whites. He was also alleged to be involved in the smuggling out of the country's Gold and Diamond's resources

The assassination arose from the land disputes in Zimbabwe. This land disputes was caused by President Mugabe`s introduction of new land which adversely affected the rich white farmers. And some blacks vehemently condemned the land act introduced by the government, this resulted to mob actions and killings by war veterans and political thugs. Few weeks before this awful tragedy,my father just like he sensed what was going to happen, mapped out the sum of US$9.7M(Nine Million Seven Hundred Thousand United States Dollars)all contained in a metal box.He made an arrangement and moved the box and the rest of my family to South Africa. He stayed back in Zimbabwe to know the outcome of the land act.My father intended to use this cash for establishment of new farms in Lesotho and Swaziland(neighbouring countries). On our arrival to South Africa,we immediately deposited this box in a Security Company and receipt of the deposit was given to us.We did not let the company know the actual content of
the box just like we were directed by my father, pending when he will come over to South Africa. After one week,we learnt about the assassination of my father and the burning down of our house by the political thugs, since then,we have been living in South Africa as refugees.
Subsequently, the South African Development Community(S.A.D.C)has continually supported President Mugabe's new land policies. It is against this ground that we decided to move out of South Africa with the box to enable us invest in your country and start a new life. Now as the eldest son of my father,I am faced with searching and finding a responsible person or company who can help us transfer this money out of South Africa into his/her foreign account which I hope I have found by contacting you. My mother and I have resolved to give you 20% of the total sum,if you help us transfer this money. Please note that this transaction is 100% risk free as all modalities for the easy and swift transfer of this fund have been arranged
Sincerly yours,
James Mandah
