"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT BUSINESS PROPOSAL.

Dear Partner to be,

I write to you in connection with a very important business that I have at
hand.I am sorry for any inconvinience that this my mail may cause to you as
we do not know each other before.I got your email contact address in my
internet search for a foreign business partner.I was impressed with your
email profile, hence my interest in deciding to do this my business to you.

I am Mr.Ismilla Sanko,a free born of Sierra-leone.I am the first son to the
late Sir Foday Sanko. My father was the leader of the opposition in
Sierra-Leone during the civil war for a democratic change, and he died in
prison last year. Before my father's death,he had confided in me that he
deposited some money in my name with a certain finance security company in
Ouagadougou capital city of Burkina-Faso.
I have all the documents relating to the deposit. My father also warned me
not to let the finance security company know that my consignment deposited
with them contains money,as he deposited the money in a metal box in my
name, as containing precious family belongings for security reasons.
My father told me that the box he deposited with this security company
contains $10.000.000(Ten million USD)and 250kgs of Gold.Since I do not want
the security finance company to know that my consignment contains money or
gold,I will like you to write as my beneficiary and ask the security finance
company to transfer my consignment to you so that they cannot inspect it. I
have alredy discussed the possibility of them transfering my consignment to
my beneficiary for any given destination by my beneficiary.

Since the government of my country is confiscating all my father's
properties since his death,I want you to stand as my beneficiary and foreign
business partner and write to the security company in
Ouagadougou-Burkina-Faso, asking them to release my consignment to you as
the legal beneficiary for my safe keeping.Once you are ready to do this
business with me,I will quickly confirm to the security company with
documented prove that you are the legal beneficiary to my consignment and
they will release it to you for safe keeping and for our future investment.
If you are ready to do this business with me,I am ready to give you 15% of
the total content of the money and the Gold for your assistance.I will also
like you to look for a good buyer of the Gold.
Please try to keep this business secret for my security and success and let
us work on the basis of trust as family friends. We also need to be fast in
this business.
I wait for your urgent reply once you receive this my mail.
E-Mail: ismillasanko03@hotmail.com

My regards,
Mr.Ismilla Sanko.
