"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear  Joop Hoosemans,
Thanks for your mail,
Actually there is a limited time to claim the deposit but your prompt
response and cooperation will do it all.
My mind tells me that I have no doubt doing the business with you. But one
assurance I will demand of you is that no one will cheat another and we have
to be truthful and honest to the end. This means we have to be keeper of one
another.
The deposited inheritance fund is currently lieing down in the colfers of
the finance firm since the death of my client, where my client kept the
Deposit. Since after his death, I have searched for the immediate
beneficiary for this claim without success.
As a result of pressure from the finance firm for the presentation of the
beneficiary for the possible claim, I decided to contact you for your
possible collaboration for this transaction.I present you as the beneficiary
and I will back it up with legal documents confirming you as the rightful
inheritor to the said $15,000,000.00. All the necessary arrangement has being
put in place for smooth and easy conclussion of this transaction,It will not
be wise for me to leave the deposit with the finance firm to declare
unserviceable and unknown depositor, thereby converting it as their own.
Because of the above, my mind told me to look for somebody with the same
surname as Thomas Hoosemans  and that's my reason for contacting
you.
I am going to formally have meeting with the finance firm today where I will
let them know that I have found the inheritor and demand for their
requirements to let you posses the heritage.Respond for an assurance as soon
as you receive this mail. You will be updated of our meeting.
Thanks and regards
Your true partner
