"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: The President/Ceo

I am compelled to write after much consideration about your good self for a
business research and possibly investment in your country with your
assistance. It is my utmost priority to let you know that.

I am Mr. Challome Phillips, based in London and the 1st and only son of late
Mr.Sanko Challome, who until his death on 10th August 2004 after a brief
illness was the Chief Accountant Federal Ministry of
Agriculture and also the Chairman Contract Awarding Panel Gambian Agriculral
Board.

Subsequent upon his death I got your contact from your Country's Business
Index that was sent to my father before his death. Based on the very
positive recommendations made by my dad while he was alive about your
country's vast experience and business excellence. I have resolved
contacting you for assistance as proposed below.

The precipitated delay in contacting you is because we had to pay our last
respect and observe a mourning period, as our tradition demands hence my
writing you.

Shortly after my Fathers death our family lawyer revealed to my mum and I as
designated in his WILL. That my father left over a huge fortune of over
Forty Five Million U.S. Dollars (35.000.000 USD), which was deposited for
safe keeping with the assistance of a Diplomat with a Security Company,
based in Europe with affiliated offshore offices worldwide.

The keys, claim documents and identification codes to the consignment was
released to me in the presence of my mother. Further instruction from the
WILL revealed that the origin of the
funds is believed to be an accumulation of over-invoiced contract sums on
contracts executed during his tenure as Chief Accountant Federal Ministry of
Agriculture.

He also stated his inability to utilize the funds as at the time obtained
because of the civil service code of conduct Bureau restricted him from
operating foreign accounts (Domiciliary) He further instructed in case of
emergency that the funds are to be claimed with the assistance of a
trustworthy and reliable foreigner through any affiliated offshore office of
the Security Company in
America, Europe, Asia or Africa and invested abroad in view of Gambia's
unstable economy with depreciating tendencies with a view to securing a
guaranteed future.

As a fulfillment of this solemn obligation and also lacking in pro-western
business indices I wish to humbly solicit your assistance to stand as the
beneficiary of the funds and simultaneously act as
a fund manager to the funds on trust.

My mother and I have decided to compensate you with 30% of the total money
for your unbiased and prejudice free assistance, 5% is ear marked for any,
incidental expenses while the balance of 65% is for us.

Further assurances of your personality, trust and capacity in business
cannot be ascertained until we commence.

Kindly send your reply via email, including your personal telephone, fax,
mobile and e-mail contact for easy communication between us.

Thank you while counting on your understanding.

Further details await your urgent reply!

Best regards,

Mr.CHALLOME PHILLIPS
