"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Sir,

I write with hope that you will assimilate the content of the letter with a
good understanding that is bore on rendering service to another fellow that
lack contact overseas! I am a Nigerian and a personal Researcher on Gas
Calibration systems, and Reid Vapour pressure Instrumentation. As you may
well know, Nigeria is one of the largest producers of Crude oil in the world
and has been Flaring Gas seen Oil was discovered in Nigeria in 1958. With
the present government in Nigeria, which has found wide market for our
Natural Gas, she has been giving all incentives to its (gas)
Production and Marketing.

I have presented papers on a relatively ‘On the Spot’ assessment on
Moisturization and Calibration of Natural Gas deposit Wells, which is very
commercially viable. I have been duly mobilized to carry out further search
on the instrumentations. But my writing this letter to you is premised on
the further negotiation of the Minister of Science
and Technology proposal to me to use the project to remit out of Nigeria,
another 12,000,000.00euro (Twelve million Euro, only) through over
Estimation, this I have long obliged and official documentation completed.
The Honourable Minister has craved for this transaction, as he has a strong
believe that I am working in partnership with some experts in the western
world, where the money can be moved; but what I’m doing is 100% local
content!

I therefore appeal to you to work in concert with me to move the money to
your private account as funds for research to your Endeavour. I have
discussed with the Minister to return 45% to an account that he will provide
after the money has been successfully transferred to my partners overseas.
He set out 5% of total fund to cover all the accidental expenses that may be
incurred during the course of this transaction. You can keep 20% of the
total fund as your remuneration and I will find a venture to invest the
balance in your country.

I will please, want you to send to me an email to the below written email
address, immediately you receive this letter and let me know if you could be
of this urgently needed assistance. It will also be appreciated if you write
declining this offer:
justusbaba@catholicchurch.org. You can as well call me on phone: +234
8027765535.

Please observe utmost confidentiality, and be rest assured that this
transaction would be most profitable for both of us, as there is no risk
involved at all levels of this transaction.

Awaiting your urgent reply via my email or Telephone.

Best regards,

Justus Babawale, Phd.
