"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

GREETINGS
Body: As-salamu'alaykum to you my Muslim Brother.
May the peace of Allah, the Most Gracious, Beneficent and Merciful be with you and your household

I am your Sister in Islam Mrs. Amina Ahmed. I am married to Mr. Mubarrak Ahmed for eleven years without any child. We are citizens of Solomon Islands and my husband was the Solomon Islands High Commissioner in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. He passed away on the 15th August 2004. I recently nationalize here in Malaysia.

My late husband was a wealthy man and during his lifetime he focused on helping many Islamic Organizations both in our country and Africa where the Muslims were passing through great difficulties. He strives to see that the good work of Allah was taken to greater height.

Since I was not able to give him a child, my Sisters and Brothers In-law have been treating me bad and saying that I was responsible for my late husband's death, and most of them are not Muslims. Before Allah I declared that I was not responsible for that, but they disagreed. The Holy Al-Qumran made us to understand that no body dies before his time, and for this reason my late husband died a natural death for I would benefit nothing from killing a loving, kind and caring husband who had brought honor to me.

On the 10th of March 2005 I was diagnosed cancer of the lung, and medical reports detailed that I would not live for more than two months here on earth. So for this reason I decided in my heart, through directions from Allah to have some money which was left by my late husband donated to your care for the work of Charity. I had wanted to contact the people affected by the Tsunami disaster but when I came across your contact I was moved by Allah to communicate to you in this regards.

My late husband deposited the total sum of ThIRTY Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (30,500,000.00) with a bank here in Malaysia, and it is this money that I want to donate to you as quickly as possible because I don't know what the result of my illness could be.

In the banks here there are some restrictions in banking foreign currencies into bank accounts, and because of this, and that the money was in US Dollars my late husband packaged it and put it into a chest, and now had the chest deposited to the bank for safe keep.

I want you to write back to me as quickly as possible, and I want you to give me the assurance that you will use this money completely to help the poor and promote Allah's work. If you are not worthy of handling this money, do not hesitate to notify me and I will look for another person.

I would have included my phone number here, but the doctors forewarned me not to use phones henceforth because the echoes give me head and brain problems. If you can handle this money, I will meet with the bank upon hearing from you, and will apply for the release and onward payment to you.
I am highly waiting for your urgent response, and kindly remember me in your daily sualat

Wslm. SISTER AMINA AHMED
