"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I need your assistance and cooperation.

FROM:
Ms. MARTINE MORLOT.
France.

Dear Sir or Madam:

Please kindly accept my apology for sending my mail to you. I am a true
catholic Christian worshipper, and I want you to read carefully my proposal
and to trust me and help me out of this situation now. I believed you are a
highly respected personality, although I have respect for every created
human. I have sourced your contact through a reliable source of a business
encyclopedia in the Internet.

Though, I do not know to what extent you are familiar with events and
fragile political situation in France but it has formed consistent headlines
in the CNN, BBC news bulletins and in France satellite TV5.

My name is Ms. MARTINE MORLOT from FRANCE. I am an active and strong
political member to JEAN-MARIE LE PEN who was presidential candidate and
opponent to MR. JACQUES CHIRAC in the last presidential election held on 5th
May 2002. MR. CHIRAC won the election in a landslide victory after two weeks
of protest against my candidate MR. LE PEN, whose success in the first round
shocked many in France and beyond.

During this election, I made some reasonable savings from the campaign funds
from my party, which I secretly deposited with a security trust company in
Paris France. The fund was packaged in two boxes and the content was not
disclosed to the security deposit company because it was deposited as a
diplomatic baggage belonging to my foreign partner. The amounts in these
boxes are $6 Million USD each and all-total $12 Million USD. The funds were
transformed into un-exchangeable denomination (disguised to look like Macro
Film Plates) a Photographic film materials in disguise with the assistance
of a chemist for security reasons.

I made this deposits in the month of May 2002 after the election when I
realized that I was having so much balance left over with me and I cannot
take it to a bank because I would be queried about it and I did not want
anyone to know about the fund. Now the security trust company is worried for
not having come to clear off the boxes from their custody and I have been
contacted several times and my reasons to them is over due. Here in France
we have strict laws against money movement especially when it concerns the
indigenous citizenry, but it welcomes foreigners. With regards to the
situation, I am hereby contacting you and soliciting for your assistance to
come to France to help go with me to the security company to claim the boxes
as my foreign partner as I have indicated during the deposit to the company
that the boxes belong to my foreign partner. The transaction is 100% risk
free and you are not in any danger in helping me.

I will also need your assistance not only to claim the boxes from the
company but also to help me move out the fund from France for investment in
your country because here we have high taxation on any business investment.
As a business deal, I promised to reward you with 30% of the total funds for
your assistance. On your arrival, we shall discuss more about other areas of
business investment in your country.

If you are interested in my proposal, please respond swiftly to this email
and forward me your name and address and phone numbers so that I can notify
the security company before your arrival that I would be coming very soon to
their office with my foreign partner to claim the boxes. Please I would
request that you act very fast to this proposal if it really touched your
mind to help me so that we can have the deal concluded as soon as possible.
The transaction is beneficial to both of us. Please let me know your
interest and how soon you would be coming to France. I will personally
myself receive you from the airport on the day of your arrival. I lived in
the northern part of France. All your traveling expenses would be refunded
back to you after we have claimed the boxes from the company.

Please treat this email with utmost secrecy and please keep the transaction
very confidential.

I look forward to your urgent reply.

Best regards,

Ms. MARTINE MORLOT.
