"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

mutual business relationship with you.

I got your contact in the internet during my search for a credible
individual who can be of immense assisstance to my boss and I.

For succint introduction,I am Mr Sam Jackson The Minister of Economic

You must have read in the news lately of how the international community has
pressed President Charles Taylor and his close aides to go into exile in
Nigeria due to indictment for war crime, illicit diamond trade, and to
forestall lasting peace in Liberia.

In line with this developement,we decided to set aside some money for safe
keeping in western europe to take care of our families in exile.

Precisely,we have the sum of $15.5m USD (Fifteen Million U.S Five Hundred
Thousand Dollas)only which is currently being held by our diplomatic contact
in Europe intended for investment.

Since we are not desirous to be linked to this money because of our present
circustances, we are therfore soliciting your assistance in taking over the
ownership of the fund from the diplomat because of the hunt by international
community to frozen our bank accounts and confisticate our assets all over
the world.

We are willing to compensate you with a satisfactory percentage of the money
for your coperation and assistance in this regard.

If this information appeals to your positive response, do not hessitate to
