"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,
I know that this message will come to you as a surprise but honestly I do not intend to surprise you. After going through your profile from your country trade journal we decieded to unfold our investment plan to you of which we are convince as to seek for your assistance and help.
Before proceedings , My name is Kazim Tarek Aziz, an Iraqi refugee in Thailand. Prior to this last serious crisis that is still ravaging in my country, which recently led to misfortune of our country and my late father's position as one of the brigadier in the Iraqi Army, we were able to come over here in Thailand with my only surviving mother who unfortunately has been critically ill because of her kidney problem coupled with the shock my father's death cuased her.
My father until his death last year was a brigadier in charge of Arms and Ammunition procurement for the Iraqi Army .Before his death, he specifically drew our attention to the sum of US$20.5 million, which he had deposited, in a safe trunk box of the Financial Firm. This fund were original gotten from his proceeds. My late father was able to safe guard this fund through a very good diplomatic contact from my country to Thailand which is the most reason why we come over here in Thailand to plan our life.
I have dicieded to contact you because we are interested in investing in your country which is investment friendly. I would therefore require your assistance in terms of materials and logistics to be able to move the fund from the financial firm in question. All documented proofs in respect of this deposited consignment fund are in our possession.
This fund being the basis of our future, your friendship, assistance and advise will be highly appreciated while relying on your guidiance for a profitable business establishment in your country.
Please note that this transaction is risk-free and the major thing I ask of you is to assure me the safety of the fund when transferred to your country. Further information and arrangement will commence as soon as trust confidence and good relationship is established. I shall be most grateful if you maintain the confidentiality required in this transaction.
In view of your participation, we are ready to give you a good negotiable percentage for your assistance, or better still commit it into viable Joint venture projects.I strongly believe that associating with you to embark on this and other business venture will derive a huge success hereafter.
Thank you for your understanding and I'm looking forward to having a successful business relationship with you. Do include you private contact telephone number and private e-mail when replying.

I anticipate an urgent response from you.

Yours faithfully

Mr.Kazim.Tarek Sabawi
