"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I want to Invest in your Country.

Dear Friend,

I am interested in purchasing properties as a means of investment
abroad. I do not know too well about how to purchase property in your
country.

I will need your help to do this. I need you to help me look for
properties like; Homes, lands and other business ventures for sale.

Apart from the property presently under your care, you can locate
more.I am proposing to invest the sum of $15,000,000 USD for this. I do
not know if you will be of help to me. Let me give you a brief
information about my personality; I was once a minister of works and
housing here in my country Nigeria, but now, I am into private local
shipping.
Business is not moving to well and things are crumbling, the Economy here is
bad
and above all the government are too inquisitive.

I am 56 my wife 42, I have 4 children as well as most of my cousins
stay with me and probably would come around with me. I have a sister
that is presently a doctor and also a brother that is a Teacher. I do
hope all now you know a little about me, so also I want to know about
your very self.

My need to acquire these properties is urgent, as I am planing to move
out of my country with my family down to your country. I want you to
also look for a good home (mini estate) Where me and my family will
live in.

Please do write me back, so that we can proceed,I will need your
