"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Subject: ASSISTANCE.........?

Dear Sir,

I am pastor Koffi Kosombo the second general overseer of Christ Embassy in
Lagos Nigeria. There was this member of my church, Mr Mr Paul Tracy who had a
contract with
theFederal government of Nigeria on the supply of all the aeronantical
partsfor the maintenance of all the presidential jets in Abuja.

Unfortunately,he died in an auto crash two(2) months ago.But before he
died he decleared to me as his pastor, the contract sum,the Federal
Government was to pay him.Right now since the sudden death of this brethen,I
and his
attorney ,Barrister Yemi williams has been beckoning on the
President,Olusegun Obasanjo to assent his approval for the release of
this money which he finally did.

Presently,we have tried with the help of the manager of African New
Development Bank
Nigeria to deposit this fund in their custody. So as it stands there is an
indication from a reliable source that some dubiousmonguls wants to call
back this funds to their own possession.

But the Barrisster has appealed to the Minister of finance Dr.Mrs Ngozi
Okonjo Iweala to look into the matter. The minister has directed both of us
to make a thorough investigation for the next of kin to the deceased
member,to come to Nigeria or to forward all necessary vitae in order to
take possession of this ($7,500,000) million Dollars.

Please my Dear friend ,I want you to please stand as the next of kin,
so that this money shouldnt be dealt with by dubious contractors.
I also want you to be rest assured of 100% risk free, because all the
necessary arrangement for the transaction has been made.

Kindly contact Barrister Mohammed Bello.with this E-mail address or this
telephone number.barrister_mohammed_bello@yahoo.com ,+234-8035820155

Pastor Koffi Kosombo.
