"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I know you might be suprised to receive a letter like this from unknown person. well' I am Mrs Fatui Sanko the wife of late col. Foday Sankoh the operation director of ( R U F) revolutionary united front in Sierra Leone, known as opposition leader against the Government of president Alhaji Ahmed Tijan Kabbah.With the recent attack by them esternal forces of United Nation and Economic Community Monitoring Group (ECOMOG) Which led to the arrest my husband col. Foday Sankoh and other regional leaders. I and my children were in our country now . As I am writting this letter for your assistance with tears in my eyes, I cannot
tell the where about of my husband since his arrested till his death . The most painful aspect of it all is that of my husband's account were all frozen and . I do not know what to do without my husband's presence
on the back ground. The reason why am writing this particular letter to you is for you to assist me if you can. You see, before my husband was arrested, the sum of ($13.MILLION US DOLLARS) Was set aside for the
purchases of arms and ammunitions in order to resist any internal and external aggressions.This money is contained in a diplomatic box. With an inscription on it's body signifying family valuables.My husband made
the deposit in the name of our first son Frank Sankoh as the next of kin in a security company in Abidjan (COTE D' IVOIRE) and registered as family valuables for safe keeping the content of the box was not
disclosed to the security company. Am therefore, am asking you to help us to transfer this money into your country as soon as the box of money containing this ($13 MILLION US DOLLARS) by any means you consider approeriate.You do not know me and I do not know you, but I am trusting God because he will never direct me to an ungodly person who will seat on this money which is our last hope.Right now I am confused and do not know what to do with my life if my husband doesn't
come out alive. Please am pleading and I know that am dealing with a God fearing person. If you have made up your mind to assist me and my children in this transaction, As soon as the money is transfered into
your account you will be compensated 25% of the total sum while 10% will be mapped out for any expenses that may incurE during the transaction. Bear in mind that after the smooth transfer of the funds, you will send us a letter of invitation this will enable us obtain our entry visa to enter your country.Please this must be kept secret between you andI. Reply through my E-MAIL address. Am waiting to hear from you as soon as your receive this my urgent letter .
