"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ASSIST ME PLEASE

From: ALBONGO SANI

Dear Sir,

I am sorry for the embbarasment this mail might cause to
you, since we have no correspondance before.
I got your contact from my uncle who works with the nigerian chambers
of commerce.
My name is Albongo Sani.. I and my 22 years old sister are orphans
from
the Republic of Laiberia.

We are presently residing in cross rivers State, Nigeria. We were
amongst the lucky Liberians who benefited airlifted from the
airlifting exercise
embarked upon by the United Nation High Commission on Refugees
(U.N.H.C.R.).

My late father until his death was a heavy importer of iron and steel
in Laiberia.
Before the war in Liberia, my father was awarded a contract to supply
Steel and Iron Rods valued at US$9.6 Million six hundred thousand
Dollars ,to the Department of Works and Housing, in Laiberia.

He ordered the steel from U.K, but before the shipment arrived, the
war broke out in Laiberia. Due to the war he redirected the shipment
to lagos Sea Port for safety.

The war led to destruction of lives and properties. My father
developed heart problem and few days later he gave up the ghost on
the 15th of febuary, 2003.

Life became very difficult in the camp and I thought it wise to
approach some officials of the Ministry in Nigeria and the supply
was taken by the government at a much reduced price, since we are
poor and desperately in need of money.
It took another (5) months for the payment to be approved, we prayed
and fasted and with the help
of God, the payment have been approved by the Finance Ministry.

A secret revealed to us(my uncle with chambers of commers) shows that
the government will deduct a Tax of 45% if the money is paid to us
here in Nigeria since we are war refugees.

As the eldest son, I decided that we have to relocate to a foreign
country where we can live without fear of any danger again and also
have our money complete.

We already have informed the ministry that our late fathers foreign
partiner shall be forwarding an account for the payment of the funds
for
same as our guiding.

This is basically where we want your surport, to provide a bank
account.
The approved amount is US$9.6 (Nine Million six hundred thousand US
Dollars).
And we are willing to negotiate your corporate or personal commission for your partispation.

Please feel free to send your full contact including your phone and
fax numbers immediately you receive this letter for more details, also
you send me your reply through this e-mail address:
absani1000@yahoo.com or you can call me on this my private phone line:234-80-5511-5427.

the ministry is waiting for us to provide an account so that the fund
can be wired immediately.

As you may want to know, every legal document relating this
transaction is intact,as such its risk free, for its not government
nor anybodys someone else money.

Your kind consideration of this urgency will highly
be appreciated.

I look forward to hearing from you.
your phone and fax numbers, constant communications will play a major
rule in this transactions, as i donot like discusing issues like
these on internet.

Yours faithfully,

Albongo Sani.
