"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir

I got your contact from recommended Prominent Realtors listed on the
Internet Directories of Realtors in your country.

I am Barrister Paul Cayne of Egodi Associates, a firm of Legal and
Estate Practitioners based in Lagos Nigeria, West Africa. My
Partners/Clients are retired military rulers seeking investment
opportunities for
their funds, most of which was acquired during the past millitary regime
in our country. They require reliable and trustworthy foreign partners
who would act as partners and keep treat the venture in strict and
absolute confidence.

We are seeking to invest in viable Real Estate Ventures and possibly,
Stocks and Shares of blue chip companies in a stable economy such as
yours. Our search beyond the West African Sub-region is obvious, with the
dwindling returns on investments and inconsistent government policies
and unstable political climate.

My partners and I, hope to invest a portfolio of about US$150million
(One hundred and fifty million United States Dollars) and we hope to
work with you as our guide and major foreign Partner in this venture.
We are willing to offer you a very reasonable percentage of the deal if
we are assured of your trustworthiness and efficiency.
If you accept to work with us, please respond to me immediately or to
my email address: paulcayne@yahoo.co.uk

We would also appreciate if you update us with your profile and other
contacts as our search was only limited to primary contact. While
looking forward to a lasting business relationship.

Yours Sincerely

Paul Cayne Esq.
