"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Let me first explain to you that I got your contact while searching for investment assistance in Internet. I am Ms. Adama Majd,a 22 years old Sudanese girl. The first daughter of (late) Maj. Ammar Majd, and my younger brother Nooh Majd, who is 18 years old. Our father was formerly a rebel leader in Sudan, who died at battle field on 11th March 2004 during the United Nation peace keeping intervention in Darfur western Sudan last year.

Before the death of my father, he deposited an amount of five million five hundred thousand American dollars (U.S$5.500,000) in a finance company in a country in West Africa, which i will tell you the country as soon as you make up your mind to our request for security reasons.

The reason why we are contacting you is that we are saddled with the problem of securing a trust worthy foreign personality whom will take us as his/her children,and help us transfer the money over to your country with the intention of investing it in a business under your directives and supervisions, because we still a small children with out any knowledge of investment. You must promise me and my brother that you are going to take a very good care and management of our fathers money until we finished up our Education, also to help us acquire naturalization status in your country.
