"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Peters,

We are very sorry for this message coming to you without prior information. This is done with respect to the information we received from my Lawrence that Hackers and scammers are trying to hijack his organizational system. so the conclusion of the commitee is to send the notification to you again, that upon your response we shall give you mr Lawrence new email addres which is r_lawrence002@yahoo.com. he wrote in the report he submitted to us that his previous address was hijacked by the so called hackers and scammers that at the moment he has reported this development to the service providers and they have his previous  mail account suspended.

Hope you have not shared your winning information with someone else? You should also ensure that you receive information from messages coming from the address that has just been given to you.

In order to assist mr Lawrence please do inform him whenever you receive messages from any other email address apart from this that have just being given to you, Also ensure you do not send any information to anybody apart from Mr Lawrence with this new email address because you need to be aware that there are lot of hackers and scammers around so be warnded!.
