"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

We have received Resolution Grant from the president of federal republic of
nigeria chief OLUSEGUN OBASANJO GCFR, Sequel to a meeting in Abuja which was
Attended by IMF Reps, World Bank Auditors and the US Homeland Securities
Representatives to discuss on the settlement of Contracts owed Foreign
Contractors by the government.



It was resolved that immediate settlement of partition payment of [US$15.5M]
be paid beneficiaries first through funds in grant Account of the Government
with CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA, through Swift Transfer .



This bank shall transfer the money into your account at no cost in 7 working
days, In view of the above resolution , you are requested to immediately
contact the paymaster of the federation being the director of the paying
department and the head of customer service of CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA [DR
KINGSLEY ADAMS] on his hot line +234-8037228176 fax +234-5850829 email
kingsadams_cbn@yahoo.com and forward them your receiving banking details for
transfer and inquire modalities to receive funds legally.



All other formal arrangements are cancelled henceforth. Contact bank
immidiately for immidiate transfer of your money.



NOTE: No money is to be paid to any body before tranfering the money into
your account, this rule was made to stop all the scammers and fraudsters in
nigeria.
