"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

concent of His Excellency,Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha,who by now you
are aware has since the 15/09/05 been under interrogation with the London

I must inform you that this unfortunate development is a frame up of the
governors political detractors,who's primary interest is to obstruct good
governance and democracy in our State,and all fictitious allegations against
him will be cleared in a short while.On this premise I seek your able
cooperation in laying claims for payment of contract, executed by your
organisation.

I will disclose the crux and sum of this payment to you as soon as I receive
your positive response towards assisting us.I must also add that the said
sum is already being deposited with a treasury and security outfit in Canada
that usually offsets payments to foreign contractors on our state's
behalf.Note that all relevant documents and approval to back your claims
will be backdated and provided for your perusal, as we are the officials
that will ascertain you as the beneficiary of the funds.

Finally,I must plead that you do not take advantage of us when this funds
arrive your nominated account as all parties involved are counting on my
word of your transparency with this transaction.I will be expecting your
response on the above stated email which will include your personal contact
details for easy and private discussions on this matter.
