"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTENTION:

Dear friend,

It is my utmost pleasure to send you this confidential message. In my seach
for a reliable business patner overseas, I got your contact in the internet
and was impressed with your profile hence my interest in doing business with
you.

I am Mrs FATIMA ISSAH, a Sierra-Leonean nationality and wife to the late Dr
ISSAH Takim Bangura who was the personal assistant to the incumbent
Sierra-Leonean President but was assassinated by the rebels of the
revolutionary united front(RUF)when they attacked the
presidential palace.

Upon my husband brutal assassination, I discovered some deposit certificates
from his study and escaped to Ouagadougou Burkina-Faso. On my arrival in
Ouagadougou, armed with these deposit certificates, my son and I have been
able to trace this company and establish the existence of this deposit as
well asclaim ownership of this consignment.

The security company official indeed don't know the exact content of this
consignment because it was deposited and declared as family treasure by my
late husband.

>From our temporal base in Ouagadougou where we live under security cover
through the advise of our close family friend, I am writing to you to seek
for your confidential assistance to transfer this cash worth US$28.1
millions into your personal account overseas for investment purposes. The
sum I discover was part of a secret arms deal between the President and a
chemical company in Moscow. Because of my status here as a refugee, I will
not be able to transfer this money overseas in my name that is why I am
contacting you for assistance to enable us move this money to your country
and possibly assist us to invest it.

I rely on your decision but most importantly I appeal for strict
confidentiality on this transaction because of the nature of this business
and our family name. We have agreed to give you 25% of this money as a
compensation for your assistance and 5% for any expenditure you may incure
in the course of this transaction. We have also mapped out 5% for arranging
our travelling cost.

On the strength of the above I implore you to make a schedule to visit
Ouagadougou
for the following reasons :
1- To enable us to know each another.
2- To have a round table discussion on possible investment options.
3- To enable us enter an agreement of trust on the above subject matter.

Please you can contact me through (My Children Miss Shika and Mohamed Issah
Bangura). Hopefully awaiting for your considerate positive response to
enable us proced in earnest towards concluding the transfer of this fund.

Thanks
Best regards
Miss Shika Issah Bangura.
