"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED

Hello,

URGENT ASSISTANCE NEEDED

With deep sense of sorrow I regret to inform you of the tragedy that befall
our country in the departure of our first lady Mrs. Stella Obasanjo the wife
of the Nigeria president, who died at process of a cosmetic surgery
operation in marbella hospital, Malaga Spain on the faithful day of 23rd
Oct. 2005.

My Name is Williams Kay (Dr) until her death I was her personal aid and an
in-law too.
I deposited a huge amount of money for her with the security companies in
two locations according to her instruction, for a proposed investment
project which she intended putting under my care for a life time earnings
and the wages of all my services to her, this could not be actualized before
her death during the surgical operation in preparation of her 60th birth
day.

Now I am relieved of my duties and standing by as we generally mourns her
death, which is a great lost to me personally and in general the country of
Nigeria because of her generosity.

Please I want this fund to be redeemed immediately and secured in your
account for the said project as this is my only hope of her reward which I
confirmed through the last telephone conversation I had with her before she
died.

I can not travel out of the country as of this moment and don’t even know
when, because fate will only determine my stand as from now.

I will be glad to let you know the amount, locations and reward I will
offer, as soon as you respond positively to this request.

There is no risk whatsoever involved in this, as I am the only person that
is aware of this transaction and the whole documents are in my possession.

Do not hesitate to help in this endeavor for the sake humanity.

Waiting to hear from you.

Thanks.

Williams Kay (Dr)
