"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Associates,

I'm only interested in doing business of mutual
confidence with you, if you, please.
The recent developments in my immediate environment
has changed a lot about my singular perceptions, and,
has evoked some heightened angst, and willingness for
all concerned to do more, such as I intend.
I'm afraid I need to do this, and it presents no moral
scrupples in the solidarity of my humble self, with a
reasonably sound moral suasion.
Can you streak along a path with me, to cause you to
behold a negotiated hold, upon the transfer of an
intestate liquid estate of some eight million,
emphasized in the US funds, demised in Barclays bank?
You'll be availed of some requisite information, to
enable you devise a 'cooked' testamentary evidence, as
a next of kin, to facilitate reassignment; in a closed
circuit manner. I presume you'd have got it now!
This information becomes meaningful and relevant, only
if you can do something confidential, and good for
yourself, in the real sense of the word 'smart'.
If you have any idea and quality, capable of moving
this, then, let me know and we'll certainly talk more,
in terms of negotiating my offer.
