"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear

Mrs Keita Odette

Dear Friend,
Please excuse me for the inconveniences my mail may cause to you. But even if we never met, I believe firmly that on the basis of the right of humanitarian assistance that a real confidence can arise from our communication and favor so a real partnership between us two.
So it is with a real pleasure that I contact you since ABIDJAN the economique capital of CÔTE D'IVOIRE ( western AFRICA) where I lived for some time with my son after the death of my husband.
In fact I am Madam KEITA Odette, the legitimate wife of the Director salesman of cocoa in official list of Ivory ( western AFRICA) murdered by the rebels some monts ago.
During the exercise of his mandate, my husband had deposited a metal suitcase with a recognise security company here containing the sum of (fifteen million dollars USD) To allow him to conceive a project of investment at the end of his mandate here.
Regrettably the fate decided on it otherwise. Some time after his) death, I discovered in the will this paper of information and I automatically got in touch with the security company to claim this important legacy in my quality strip of justifiable wife and towards the testamentary capacities.

Today my major concern (preoccupation) is to transfer this sum outside here. Given that we have a child and I have seriously suffered from the raggings and the harassments on behalf of the political opponents of my husband. It is in this prospect that I contact you for you to helpme sincerely to remove this legacy from the security company.
In front of ceaseless political turnovers and the hostilities in this Côte d'Ivoire we seriously wish to leave from here and to live the rest of our life in a more peaceful and politically more stable and quiet country. It is what justifies this wish, this proposition and this demand.
I shall voluntarily agree on a good and appropriate percentage of this money as your compensation for your help(assistant) as for what precedes.
I would like to count on your human, virtuous and professional qualities. As soon as you will show the desire to help us I shall freely deliver you a certificate on honor to guarantee my word and my commitments in your respect.
I look forward to recive your responds.

MAY GOD BLESS OUR COLLABORATION .

Yours faithfully and sincere
Mrs KEITA Odette.
