"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I know that this proposal letter might be a surprise to you but do consider it as an emmergency.In a nutshell,I am Mr.JEAN GETHEME. from the republic of Sierria-Leone in west Africa,now seeking for refuge in Dakar Senegal under the(UNHCR).I got your contact from the net in Dakar for a possible transaction. My (late) father DR. LUCAS GETHEME,was the managing director of Rainbow Gold and Diamond Mine company in (KENEMA)Sierra-Leone.But he was killed during thelonging civil war and all his properties was totally destroyed.However, we managed to escape with some of my father's precious Diamonds which is presently deposited safely in security and finance company here in Dakar as a valid documents and family treasures. to lift this consignment out of Dakar Senegal to your country.On commencement,this transaction will take nothing less than 14working days to be accomplished.A certificate copy of the deposited bond reciept of the security company and it's Lab-test resultcertificate of the diamonds would be sent to you firstly as we
