"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Lawal Shahib Kabia.

Dear Sir

I am Mr. Lawal Shahib kabia from the Democratic republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). I am the son of late Mr. Nouma Edward Lawal former Minister of Internal Affairs.
before his assassination in the on going civil war in my country. I came here Bangkok-Thailand in the wake of his assassination to escape from the seizure of the family treasures. I came here with the mind of investing some fund which my father left in the family treasure before his death but due to some unfavorable conditions attached to foreign investors here,
I was forced to look for where else to embark on this project. I have in my possession the sum of Six point Eight Million Dollars (US$6.8M).
With most regards to your trustworthiness as your country made my short list considering her growing economy, human right and rule of law, I ask for your immense help and assistance in investing this fund in a profit orienting field. I got your contact from a business directory which I acquired on my trip to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry here and had to approach you with this proposal of mutual trust and benefit.
I am soliciting for your advise and assistance in helping me explore the investment potential over there with a view to my having a good business opportunity there that I can invest this fund. I will also be happy for us to go into a joint venture partnership as you will be rewarded immensely either by our being into a partnership or my parting with some percentage cash reward to you. Other terms of reward will be welcome as may be suggested by you.
Thanking you for having time to go through my mail, I will like that you reply me through the above e-mail address while looking forward to hearing from you even if you are not interested.

Bests regard

Lawal shahib
