"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

It is my pleasure to write you after much consideration since telephone communication can not be suitable enough to communicate to you at first.

Being the only son of my father, late Mr.Victor Williams from KWATA-NATAL ZULU in Republic of South Africa (SA) I am 22 years of age.

My father was a limited liability of Cocoa and Gold merchant in JOHANNESBURG, South Africa before his untimely death. After his business trip to Abidjan - Cote d'Ivoire, to negotiate on a cocoa and gold business he wanted to invest in Abidjan - Cote d'Ivoire.

A week after he came back from Abidjan, he was attacked with my mother by unknown assassins. My mother died instantly but my father died after five days in a private hospital on that fateful afternoon. I didn't know that my father was going to leave me after I had lost my mother.

But before he gave up the ghost, it was as if he knew he was going to die. He my father, MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE he disclosed to me that he deposited the sum of $28,000,000,00 US Dollars (TWENTY EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS) in an international bank here in Abidjan-Cote d'Ivoire.

That the money was meant for his cocoa and Gold company he wanted to establish in Abidjan - Cote d'Ivoire though, according to my father he deposited the money under an agreement with the bank which made me the next of kin to this deposit and also in the event of his death that the money must be released to me through the account of his foriegn business partner which he did not disclose any name to the bank.

It is on this note that I have contacted you so that you can help me and pose as my late father's business partner in order for the bank to transfer the money to your bank account immediately.

My father also gave to me the deposit certificates and instructed me to seek for a reliable and trust worthy business partner for my lifetime investment abroad.

Now I have succeeded in locating the bank here in Abidjan - Cote d'ivoire and also confirmed the deposit with most honest and confidentiality. Now I am soliciting for your assistance to help me lift this money out from Abidjan to your safe account abroad so that we should invest it in any meaningful lucrative business in your country because this is my only hope in life.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:
1. Can you honestly help me as your son.
2. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you after the transfer and the money in your account?

Please,Consider this and get back to me as soon as possible
Awaiting anxiously to hear from you so that we can discuss the modalities of this transaction.

Thanks for your kind attention.

Yours sincerely,

Kenny Williams.
