"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Accept my apology for sending this mail to you. I do not know to what extent you are familiar with events and political situation in Liberia but it is in the news even in CNN AND BBC.

Iam Mrs. Suzana Vaye wife of Late Mr. Issac Nuhan Vaye deputy minister of public works who was killed By Charles Taylor former president of Liberia, currently am staying in Ghana with my son due to the recent war in my country iam doing everything humanly possible to travel out of Ghana.


Some funds was left in a Security / Finance Firm, by husband (name withheld for security reasons) before he died. Prior to his death in the hands of rebels, he handed me over a certificate meant for a secret Deposit, which he made in a Security / Finance Firm, and i want foreign beneficiary outside Africa to deposit it in his or her account.

My husband did this because he envisaged his Arrest / death, my decision to contact you is due to my present social status and total ignorance of the business world.I believe you will appreciate the enormity of trust I repose on you by placing the fortunes of my family in your care. Permit me to request that you should reassure me that you would not let me down in any way, on my part, my assurance and guarantee to you is as much as you follow my instructions carefully, religiously and promptly my guarantee of a hitch-free success remains unshakable.

You will be given a negotiable percentage of the funds at the end of the transaction if you will be willing to assist me claim the funds Include your telephone and fax numbers, to enable me send some other vital information across to you.
My proposal is highly restricted and should be handled as an urgent transaction requiring trust and confidentiality.
