"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear

From: Miss Sarah Hendrich
Main City, Johannesburg,
South Africa.

Dear Friend,
With warm heart I offer my friendship, and my greetings, and I hope this
letter meets you in good time. I am Miss Sarah Hendrich
Following the sudden death of my Parent's Mr. & Mrs John Hendrich the late
re-knower white Zimbabwean wine and cattle Farmer, South Africa. During the
war waged against the farmer in Zimbabwe by the supporters and cohorts of
President Robert Mugabe to claim all the white owned farms in our country,
my late Parent’s big farms were among those targeted by the ZANU-PF armed
group. I will give you more information as to this regard as soon as you
reply.
My beloved brother was just released from detention few months ago by the
South Africa Government for an offence he did not commit. In the course of
the revolution in Zimbabwe, the ZANU-PF armed group attacked and invaded my
Parent's farms, burning, killing him. After my Parent's death last two year,
I managed to escape the boundaries of Zimbabwe into South Africa, because my
life was threatened and Zimbabwe was longer safe for me. I escape safely
into South Africa with my Parent's lifetime fortune of US$ 20m(Twenty
Million Dollars) cash, bonds, important documentation of property title and
other valuable as he instructed to do before he died. The money and valuable
were concealed and secured in two treasure boxes, and were lodged in
Johannesburg and Spain through the diplomatic means in a security company.
Please you can real about probles in Zimbabwen from the links below.

The boxes are currently and safely secured in the vaults of a private
security company and brokerage firm here in Johannesburg and Spain .
Presently, I am residing temporarily in Johannesburg Refugee camp since the
relocation of some Zimbabwean Farmers to Kwara State pending the outcome of
an appeal filed on my behalf by my attorney Department of Home Affairs to
grant us political asylum. I am in a dilemma on how to move this money
safely out of South Africa and Spain for investments moreover due to South
Africa’s government’s stringent monetary policies/regulation and the
sensitive and volatile political status of the region. You will guide all
my future investment and it will be operated on partnership level. You will
be getting 30% of the total investment in your capital moved to your
country, as your share for assistance and the balance will be plugged into
the investment project. Upon receipt of your indication of interested to go
into co-operation with, we will open up discussion on the best ways to
invest your country.
Please honesty is the watchword in this transaction. I will require your
telephone and fax numbers so that we can commence communication immediately
and I will give you a more detailed picture of things. I will greatly
appreciate if you accept my proposal in good faith. Please expedite action
by sending your reply.
Awaiting for soonest response.
Best Regards
Miss Sarah Hendrich.
